Visualizing information makes a dramatic difference in understanding. The brain processes visuals much faster and more effectively than any other means of communication. We think in terms of images. The brain interprets visuals multiple times faster - almost instantly - than text. It gets our immediately attention and mobilizes emotions; "Seeing is Believing" - "a Picture is Worth a thousand Words". The brain is better able to focus on one source of information at a time.
?We are perfectly capable of processing visual and verbal information simultaneously. If the speaker is showing an image at the same time, it takes for the brain a split second to understand and to process the image while focusing on the presenter's words.
?A simple and clear message communicated via a visual is much more powerful than using high sophisticated words. The audience will appreciate the effort to simplify the message by presenting it via an easy-to-understand image or story; it gets almost effortlessly into their minds; it is easier to understand and to remember.
