Visualizing content as your storefront w Rasmus Basilier & Joe Lemon

When I see people wondering, why I need to make content, this is how I ask them to visualize:

"Imagine, a store that is put in the middle of the forest. Nobody would see it and they wouldn’t even know that it exists.?

Even to this day, people would put their stores in the city center where many people can see and find it"

That is the thing with content: it works for you like your own storefront.

How to make your own online content "storefront"?

People are on their phones roughly 2 to 4 hours per day - consuming content. Not walking on the street. And if they are, they are looking into their phone ;)

Just like having a store, thousands of people will see your posts and videos if you make them. Because their time is spent in the content world. You more or less have to be in in the content game if you want to be noticed.

Bonus: if you the only one making content in your industry, people will reach out to you because no one else is doing it.?That is why for example VILPE and Uponor is doing so well with their content.

What more is in the episode?

This episode might be a short one but there are more insights from it related to:

  1. ?Repurposing: Does it help if you want to increase the production volume?
  2. ?AI tools: How useful they can be for creating content?
  3. ?How does content make boring stuff interesting in a company?
