Visualize more than what you see: 5 things that have a deeper perspective to what's popularly known

1]. Never give-up attitude: more often than not has been painted as a virtue and attributed with positivity. In most filmed stories, the final outcome is predefined and contributing variables are minimal. For example: a player learning to excel at a sport despite failures, a student in the run for grades despite falling short repeatedly, or the story of the founder of KFC, Apple, Facebook. Whilst these stories are certainly inspiring and are commendable, never give up attitude can also be detrimental when one does not consider the dynamics in motion, blindly believing that never give-up works all the time.
It doesn't.
Perseverance is a must-have in reaching success. So is knowing when to give up.
All of us live on borrowed time, and the clock is ticking, it has no consideration of one's never give up attitude. If one thing does not work, try again, then again, and may be once again. The world is full of opportunities, find an equally rewarding (or even more rewarding) goal to go for.
2]. Boss & Leader Philosophy: We all have seen popular comparisons that have been made between the two and how polarizing this conceptualization has become.
Whilst it is always good to be all that a leader is painted to be, in real life circumstances may not be that generous. If you're a good leader as popularly painted, by all means continue to be.
But if you're on the other side of the table: learn the good and drop the bad from you so-called bad boss. It does not matter whether your superior is a boss or a leader, likely tendency is that he/she may be a bit of both, circumstantially. All leaders have their fair share of flaws, and so are the bosses, and so are you, so are we all. Reconcile, come to terms, and more importantly, learn, decide and design the kind of a person you want to be, when you're on the other side.
3]. A good person: is a myth. In a short film or a clip, yes there are. But in real world, it's a mix of both in each person. If you're in a hunt looking for good people, well you're in for a disappointment, for your own self will never pass that mark you've set.

The important aspect is that you shape your eye to see the best in people, even when there is none.
4]. Motivate others: Whilst this is a concept too widely popular that we see in videos, job descriptions, speeches and just about everywhere. Seriously, when was the last time you motivated someone for a lasting cause and they actually saw through to accomplish, or you were motivated by someone that you actually saw things to the end?
Motivation is a short-lasting ignition. It needs to be backed by impactful inspiration, a sense of within-ness and a true commitment from the other part to see things through till the end.
Try inspiring others, and be relatable so one sees themselves through you. And if it's you, don't be motivated, be inspired, spark the inner plugs so your entire system supports the cause, and only then will you achieve great accomplishments.
5]. Work hard or smart: We have seen many comparisons on this front too. But it really does not matter whether you work hard or smart, if you're not relevant, relatable and purposeful. Try working with purpose, a purpose coming from within, so that there is joy in doing whatever it takes, and you walk back home everyday, with an unburdened mind, and not having debates in the night before bed whether you worked hard or smart.
