Happy long weekend! Did you celebrate the 4th of July? How did you spend it? Maybe you enjoyed friends, fireworks, and BBQ? Or perhaps you treated yourself to a task-free day to tackle those projects you never seem to get to? Maybe you took the quiet time to catch up on work.
Celebrating your achievements
However you celebrated, know that it not only feels good but also builds your resilience in the face of uncertainty. Based on my research with Monica Worline and Dr. Christina Maslach, celebrating and recognizing achievements boosts emotional well-being, strengthens team bonds, and builds resilience. This fosters a supportive workplace culture essential for maintaining motivation and combating burnout.
I want to celebrate one of our clients/friends, Jen Gilhoi. She has a very healthy approach to celebrating her achievements.
Drawn from experience
Jen is an empath storyteller with a collection of stories drawn from her own lived experience, shared with the intention of helping others seek and find that they belong to themselves and that is enough. She's open to conversations that help you make healthier choices.
