Visual Impact in the diverse world of L&D
As always, a busy week at the Training Foundation, and for me, meetings galore, utilising Skype technology, telephone, online Webex's, LinkedIn and too many emails to mention, with prospective Training Accreditation Programme (TAP) clients from overseas, for example America, China, Botswana, New Zealand (and as far away as the Isle of Man!); and face to face meeting in a historic building that was once an early 18th century Queen Anne farmhouse, extended in historic rural surroundings that once formed part of the Royal Forest of Galtres on the outskirts of York; in state of the art training facilities with immersive learning in the Cloud; (in that very same building!); to well established world renown London University originally founded by George Bernard Shaw; through to fun and funky (does anyone in the 21st century still use the word Funky?) decorated buildings in Maidenhead welcomed by 'Jackson' (the Jim Henson (of Muppets fame) character that stars in the Three adverts! - I didn't know that was his name...did you?....Every day is a learning day!), all shows what a diverse world we live in, and operate in, in the world of L&D. Oh, and it may be a Trivial Pursuit question one day!
Is it any wonder then, that learning and development needs to remain innovative and keep up with the times, and at the same time be as impactive as it can be, not only visually, but in the commercial world we operate in, it must be equally impactive on the bottom line.
Thanks to all my hosts this week, it has been a real pleasure meeting you all, and introducing you to the double Queens Award winning Training Accreditation Programme.
For more information about our Certificates in Training Design, Delivery and Visual Impact please do contact me personally, especially if you want to show me round your L&D facility, can it be any more diverse that Queen Anne, George Bernard Shaw, and Jackson?
Let me know what diverse history your training facility has, I would be interested to know.
