Visual effects, is how we think …
From the time story telling has been into existence, adding that little tadka through special effects has been a practice.?If you can’t visualize it, it isn’t a story at all.?Remember mommy’s stories where she would use voice modulation to elaborate the scenes of her story or the kinder school teachers who used descriptions to help us picture the blue skies or the green monsters??As people learnt the art of drawing and bringing their imaginations to life, colours, shapes and sizes began to become the special effects of stories.?First, we created them with paints and paper. Now with technology.
Technology has changed a lot.?Animation platforms created 2D and then 3D versions of such special effects.?Every emotion became visually recognizable.?In fact, emotions spoke more than words.?Special effects today, is how we communicate with each other.?There is no single advertisement or media representation that does not use special effects.?In today’s times, visual effect-based movies sell more than emotional or commercial dramas.?Movies like Spiderman, The Mummy, Transformers or Avengers have changed the level of imagination.?Today anything is possible and to give those impossible thoughts a form, we have visual special effects.??
I spent a large part of my life mastering the art of 2D and 3D animation.?To be honest I have also been fairly lucky to be able to work under the leadership of amazing coaches and be associated with outstanding brands who were already using these art forms.?And now…I am about to master the art of visual special effects.?I am loving this journey that teaches me something new every day and allows me to bring to life not just my imagination but the imagination of others too.?
