#Visual Content - Winds of Change
According to the UN’s site, there are approximately 1 billion persons with disabilities in the world, or 15 percent of the global population both in developed and developing countries. Nowadays, many organizations understand it is vital to include persons with disabilities in the work force. This post deals with the integration of both persons with disabilities and with special needs reflected in the media.

My first example refers to Gap's “back to school” campaign. This campaign reflects the excitement of beginning a new school year and the photos below show how all kids are excited – no matter if they have either different disabilities or special needs or none of the above.
Thank you Gap for enabling everyone to get back to school!
Video Commercial example
Care.com took the integration issue one-step forward; their site offers a service of finding either a babysitter or a nanny. Their short video (30 seconds long) shows many “types” of kids. The result is simply adorable!
Well done Care.com!
Switch sides example
How about switching sides; Could you imagine your life with a majority of population with different disabilities? How would you manage in such a world? électricité de France, the French electric utility company, has created a very important video about it:
What an important lesson in only 46 seconds!
Although it seems as if the integration is in its peak, I think we need to continue to hit the nail on the head
