Vistage NYC Member Spotlight: Mark Gregorio Of TEI Group

Vistage NYC Member Spotlight: Mark Gregorio Of TEI Group

Please help me in congratulating Mark Gregorio, President of TEI Group, and long-time Vistage NYC group member, in receiving the SmartCEO’s Future 50 Award for 2017. The SmartCEO’s Future 50 Award recognizes 50 of the region’s fastest growing, mid-sized companies.

Mark’s entrepreneurial journey started when he became the youngest foreman in history, working for the New York City Transit Authority’s Power Division. Mark then went to Miller Elevator Industries where within three years he was appointed as a Foreman and took on responsibility for over 300 elevators in Manhattan, NY.

Today, Mark Gregorio is President of TEI Group, a company with over 200 employees, that delivers new construction, modernization, repair and maintenance services to meet the vertical transportation needs of New York City’s demanding residential and commercial real estate markets.

I asked Mark what his biggest takeaway from Vistage NYC has been over the years, and this is what he said:

“My biggest takeaway from Vistage NYC is that the group is a valuable resource bringing perspectives to problems you may not be seeing.
I would advise a new CEO to listen more than talk.”

As you can see, Mark is all about creating “high value” opportunities, both within his companies leadership, as well as with the clients his company supports, and that’s the exact reason why his company works with some of the top developers and property owners in New York City.

Mark wakes up every morning with the intent on leading his firm to be the best at what it does – building and servicing New York’s vertical transportation industry.

If you’re already a Vistage NYC member, please help me in congratulating one of our own in winning the SmartCEO’s Future 50 Award, and if you’re not a current Vistage NYC member, I’d suggest reaching out to me via my contact form, and discussing how we can get you to one of our exciting upcoming events.
