Visit Your Credit Score

A strangely worded email inspired this. Visit your parents. Call them if you can. Do gooders on this site tell you to call someone if you think they are about to kill themselves. How would you know? Why did you make friends on the brink?

Some people like to play God and feel they can "Save" others. Save money and don't pay fees. I never paid a bank fee, baggage fee or anything that gives no value and does not really teach consumers to maintain at least the minimum balance or to pack less.

So many bags are lost by airlines there is an outlet store in Alabama where "lost" items are sold. Carry on whenever possible. None of which has to do with a credit score. I have not checked mine in a while.

It is strange that it goes down when a debt is paid off. One would think that should be the ultimate goal. There is probably a BS reason for that. Pay your bills on time every month. No matter how crummy my job prospects were for many years (it's amazing how times flies when you are unemployed or underemployed) I always paid my credit cards in full.

The bills were smaller. As much as I would have loved to travel; money was more finite at that point. I am completely ignored in life. That does not mean I am not going to work on what I can.

Debt is a prison. Avoid it at all costs. My credit score was surprisingly high and it is not 850. Companies would want to do business with me if I am in the market. That means more than any vanity metric.
