Visit to Novio Tech Campus in Nijmegen with Oost NL and Dujat
On 20 April 2022 Global Connect Consultancy B.V. , together with Global Connect Admin B.V. ?visited the Noviotech Campus in the oldest city of the Netherlands, Nijmegen with the goal of exploring the health and tech / semiconductor opportunities that the city has to offer. This insightful event was hosted by the DUJAT (Dutch & Japanese Trade Federation) and Oost NL and we were enlightened with insightful presentations by HFML-FELIX , Noviotech Campus , Ampleon , NTS , MindAffect and Cardiomo .
Nijmegen is internationally known for its health ecosystem and at Novio Tech Campus is the hotspot for Health and High Tech innovation in the Netherlands. Their goal is to impact the lives of people by linking “Health and High”. The continuous collaboration and innovation between researchers and entrepreneurs in these sectors boosts the development of products and services creating a healthier, happier world. Research conducted here includes developing a drug against COVID-19 and world-class development of new generation of chips. The campus is also home to the largest and most advanced semiconductor plant in Europe.
We visited Ampleon, the leading global partner in RF Power and learnt about LDMOS and GaN technology which is used globally in mobile broadband, broadcasting and MRI. At NTS the focus is on prototyping and small series of optical and mechatronic systems and modules.
