Words to describe the Zhongda Fabric market? Humongous, immense, brimming and intense are a few that comes to mind. Actually, if there is one problem with Zhongda, it is the size of it. Yes, there can be such a thing as too much fabrics. If you come here by yourself, expect to get lost. You will most probably end up spending most of your time wandering around trying to find the fabrics you are looking for and don't expect to be able to get help unless you speak Chinese.

It can be hard to get around if you dont understand Chinese

Most of the suppliers here speak no English at all and the ones that do speak English only know some basic words and phrases. This will put you in a great disadvantage when trying to negotiate a good price. Like always when doing business in China, you can expect the supplier to try to take every opportunity he/she can to get the best of you. After all, the name of the game is making money. If you've finally managed to actually put down an order, you will get a pink receipt that probably will make no sense what so ever to you. This receipt is your only assurance that you will get what you ordered, and you will only get whats written on it which puts you in a bad spot since you probably wont be able to understand a word of it.
