A visit to Escher in The Hague
This last Saturday I bundled my partner onto a train in the middle of a mini-heatwave to finally make my pilgrimage to Escher in the Hague.
For a few months now I have been saying to her that I am finally ready for him. She has been very hesitant as Escher is not really her thing. So I made a compromise that we would visit Mauritshuis as well, after the intensity of Escher.
Recently I also published one of my first articles on Medium. I'm trying to work on my writing and as such am looking to experiment and learn on other platforms.
The article on medium is linked below, and happens to be about ants, more or less.
While I was wandering around the Escher museum shaking my head dissaprovingly as I watched my partner take foto's of everything exept Escher, I happened upon Escher's 'Moebius Strip II' which also happens to feature ants, Red Ants.
I paused here the longest, for obvious reasons, my brain racing around the universe at light speed!
What a wonderfull and unexpected find from the genius, Escher.
If you are ready for some suprises of your own I recommend a visit to the museum quarter in the the Hague.
Have a safe week.
