A Vision for Envision Clothing Co.
Entrepreneurship Education Consortium (EEC)
The Northeast Ohio resource that provides opportunities to students with big ideas. If you can dream it, you can do it.
Mike Eversole is a graduate of Hiram University where he studied business and entrepreneurship and will be attending Eastern New Mexico University to attend graduate school.
While a student at Hiram, Mike launched Envision Clothing, an athletic wear clothing company focused on creating unique athletic attire that anybody would be able to use in any lifestyle. It is a product that encourages people to become active and be the best version of themselves they could be.
Along with making clothes, Mike wants Envision Clothing to foster a community of highly motivated people that are focused on becoming a better version of themselves day in and day out.
About Envision Clothing
Early in his time at Hiram, Mike had to overcome a lot of internal issues such as depression and lack of motivation, caused by losing some close family members. To say the least, Mike was in a bit of a dark place but eventually, he came out on the other side better than ever. He started working out and getting active in the gym again, he began to meet fitness goal after fitness goal, and eventually, he developed into a new and improved version of himself.
This whole experience brought Mike a new vision to life and helped him find the motivation to start Envision clothing. He wants Envision Clothing Co. to be more than just a simple athletic wear company. He wants it to feel like a community, where each individual could “be the change”.
Regarding products, Envision Clothing initially specialized in making workout shirts, shorts, hoodies, and tank tops for individuals to purchase. But as the business has grown, Envision clothing has started to make shirts and uniforms for athletic groups within the Northeast Ohio area.
Envision Clothing has slowly started to enter the athlete sponsorship business as well as NIL has opened up; Mike views this as an opportunity for the business to grow even further and spread the energy that Envision clothing has created.
Mike On Creating a Branded Community
When starting Envision Clothing Mike wanted to create something other than just a clothing product. He wanted to create a branded wellness community focused on constantly improving people and continued self-development. As Mike expressed “ I wanted to take my story and my message and create it into a brand.” Mike thought if people heard and understood his story it could help them on their journey toward self-improvement.
The human aspect of Mike’s company helped massively in the business side of his company. As Mike articulates further, “I had a company first, community second. I had affiliates all across the country and it grew from there.”
The community has continued to grow and Envision Clothing and its hashtag “be the change”, is a prominent aspect of Mike's business. It is a significant part of growing his customer base.
Mike’s Advice to Future Entrepreneurs
Mike’s advice to entrepreneurs is to be open to change and adjust their business as it grows. As Mike calls it “ the power of pivoting, it's essential to understand the best direction to take your business next and be open to change.”
Another piece of advice that Mike wants to give future entrepreneurs is to understand the power of marketing and creating a unique brand image for your company, at the same time communicating quickly and efficiently.
As Mike reflects on his early experiences with marketing “ I was a word vomit communicator, through some marketing classes I learned how to hone in on a specific topic.” Mike wants future entrepreneurs to understand the power of communicating your brand’s message and that it may take some time to develop this skill.

Just think when seven professors started this organization we were hoping to do it for one to three years. It's amazing how long it's been going. Thank you to all those who keep it alive. Thank you to all those that continue to fund. And thank you to all the students who make potential exponential changes in their lives.
