Vision Empower at the Kigali Global Dialogue 2023!

Supriya and Vidhya, co-founders of Vision Empower (VE), were invited to represent VE at the?Kigali Global Dialogue 2023 and the Kigali Startup Bootcamp?in Kigali, Rwanda from June 12 to 14th.

The conference was attended by policymakers, academics, civil society, and the private sector from around the world to deliberate and devise solutions to critical sustainable development challenges facing the global community today. The three-day conference was co-hosted by the Observer Research Foundation, ORF America, and the Rwanda Governance Board. The platform hosted distinguished delegates and speakers including from 71 countries, who highlighted the diversity of perspectives from across the world. This year’s dialogue was also an official outreach event of the G20 under India’s Presidency.

The Kigali Startup Bootcamp was attended by invited startups from the Global South to share insights on fundraising, commercializing, growth strategies, and stakeholder engagements. More specifically, the boot camp focused on how technological innovation can be leveraged for sustainable development and how technology can aid in building shared platforms for measurable social change. The boot camp helped the startups to build a network where stakeholders can share insights and guidance on navigating the policy environment, enabling participants to understand better and engage with relevant debates to foster innovation and create positive social impact.
