A Vision Built for the Future
Ground breaking for ADV Integrity, Inc. and ADV Marketing (March 11, 2022)

A Vision Built for the Future

On Friday, March 11, 2022 a group of people assembled in Magnolia, Texas to celebrate the official groundbreaking for a new test facility and office complex that will house ADV Integrity, ADV Marketing, and IDT EXPO. What dedication is complete without a "motivational" speech from the founder?! It was actually a wonderful event (other than the cool north winds) and allowed us to celebrate as a company with friends and family what represents a significant milestone in the life of our company. We look forward to hosting many of you later this year as we move into our new facility. Enjoy! I've included a few last names to provide context.

Four years, eight months, and 27 days ago ADV Integrity started 4.1 miles from this very spot. Up to that point in my life, starting this company was the scariest thing I had ever done, but deep down it was something I knew I needed to do. At the end of my life, I didn’t want to look back and regret having “played it safe”.

Although my first year in business was fun and I was having more success than I could have ever dreamed, I was lonely. By the end of 2018 Wendy (Courtright) joined me and I convinced Chantz (Denowh) and more importantly his wife, Bridget, that I didn’t think we were going to go out of business. Ironically, two of the hardest facets in starting a company are convincing prospective employees you can pay them and convincing banks they can trust you with their money.

In 2019 we moved into our current facility in Waller. We were able to convince a few more employees to join us and our business continued to grow.

One of my defining characteristics is a “pre-occupation with the future”. Although content, I’m never satisfied with status quo. Much like Yoda’s comment to Luke Skywalker in Star Wars (Episode V for you purists out there), “Never your mind on where you are.” As a company, it’s critically important that we’re always thinking about who we can be and not settle for who we used to be. We must celebrate past and current successes and use them to propel us towards a better future.

Chantz Denowh, Chris Alexander, and Wendy Courtright

One of my favorite things about 2019 was ADV stopped being “my company” and became “our company”. ?I’ll be forever grateful for Wendy, Chantz, as well as Zack Hurst and Cory Duncan, for the risk they took in joining me our first year in business. Had they not, we wouldn’t be here today.

?I don’t know exactly what the future holds, but I do know that ADV Integrity and ADV Marketing have some of the brightest and most talented people I’ve ever known. We’re uniquely positioned to serve the energy industry that plays a critical role in delivering the world’s growing need for power. And, we’re going to have fun doing it!

I’d like to thank you for being here today. Each of you in some way has had an impact on me personally and ADV Integrity as a company. I’d like to thank the fellow investors in ADV Integrity Holdings including Atul (Ganpatye), Kara (Turner), Wendy, Buddy (Powers), and Ryan (Phillips). I’d like to thank our friends at Frost Bank for providing funding for this new facility, our friends at Boatman Construction and Marshall Reid and Cynthia Lo who have served as our architects. I’d also like to thank my dad, Dr. Richard Alexander, for coming today. Like a lot of little boys, I idolized my father. I went to Texas A&M, became a Drum Major in the Aggie Band, and majored in Mechanical Engineering because of his impact on my life.

And last and certainly not least, I’d like to thank my beautiful, blonde wife, Tanya. When we got married 30 years ago as kids neither of us could have dreamed all the LORD had in store for us. He has blessed us beyond measure. Without her confidence in me there is no way I could have started ADV. She believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

We’ve all had great yesterdays and I believe we’ll have great tomorrows. May we be committed to a brighter future that allows us to impact friends, family, co-workers, clients, and communities. What we have been called to do is not for the faint at heart.
