Vision

Vision

"Vision is the art of being able to see what is invisible to others."- Jonathan Swift

Early in my career, a mentor of mine said something simple, yet profound to me:

Since you are going to be thinking anyway, you might as well think BIG.

The more I thought about that the more I liked it. Why not think BIG?

It is people who think big that change the world!

Henry Ford imagined a world where every average person could own a vehicle.

Steve Jobs imagined a future where everyone owned a computer.

Jeff Bezos had a vision of an online store that sold...everything.

Bezos started Amazon in 1994 when most people did not even know what the internet was.

As you may know, originally Amazon was just an online book store. And, as I can attest from the three books I have for sale there, they still sell a lot of books.

But, now they are the store for all consumer goods.

Part of what has made Amazon super successful is the vision Bezos and his team have.

Rather than just finding products they could be the distribution center for, they asked 'What if we could be the platform where we could host entrepreneurs world wide to sell products?'

That led a lot of people to ask, “How cool would it be to sell our product on Amazon?”

?

There is no doubt that selling a product on Amazon can be a huge win!

?

You have SO many people driving traffic to the site that the odds of someone discovering your product are dramatically increased.

?

It means that you don’t have to be the only source of spreading the word about your offering.

I recently asked a different question.

?

How cool would it be to BE Amazon? Or, at least, emulate their model in some ways?

?

Here’s what I mean by that.

As you are aware if you follow my content, our company provides training in an essential skill for thriving in the modern economy; Purposeful Creative Thinking.

Like many small businesses, we are responsible for finding clients for our training services.

And, if our offerings are not what an organization needs, just like every other small business, it means no sale.

?

So, looking for a creative solution, I asked, what if we could offer products, services and training from many companies?'

?

Beyond just our team's efforts, what if, like Amazon does, there was an affiliate program that would reward folks for helping those in their circle find the companies and offerings that would improve their life?

What if, unlike Amazon, the offerings were more narrowly focused and geared toward the business community?

Wouldn’t that mean that, anyone who knew a small or mid-sized business owner or manager could earn money by helping to connect them with what they DO need?

Certainly, that would mean that what is offered via such a site would not be for everyone.

?

But, and this is a big BUT, referrals made there would not be for products that earn the affiliate $1.98.

Instead, it could be like those who refer a client to Chris Hendrix for software development.

At a development cost that could be $25,000, a 10% referral fee could be well worth the time.

Vision

What we are doing with this expansion of SpearPoint Solutions is helping people serve others as a trusted connection point rather than being someone who is pitching.

As a small or mid-sized business, imagine you had a VAST ARMY of people who could recommend your product, service or training offering.

Imagine your sales team could sell your offerings or those from any other company in a vast network of providers. And, you earned money on either.

It could mean recommending design services from Bomb Image, Emotional Intelligence training from Adam Rosensweig or even training on how to develop a limitless sales pipeline in 90 days from Chad Johnson.

?

As an affiliate, imagine you had a vast array of products, services or training from many different companies that you could recommend when they were appropriate.

That could earn you a substantial second income or even become your full time income.

How cool would that be?

?

The Best Part

What if, once you referred a customer that buys anything through our portal they were your customer for LIFE?

In other words, every time someone you referred buys anything through the SpearPoint Solutions portal, you earn money.

?

  • Customers get solutions that solve problems
  • Affiliates earn money while helping customers find those solutions
  • Product, Service and Training providers dramatically lower customer acquisition cost while increasing sales

?

That would be a B2B hub where everyone involved wins BIG, wouldn’t it?

And, it is exactly what we are building.
