It's that time of the year to take some time and reflect on loved ones and overall gratitude for what one's been given both personally and professionally.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have training and development. Some of it has been company sponsored and the rest on my own. It is a way to give thanks and share forward.
I have kept a journal of quotes shared along the way. They can be seen as impacting mindset but thought appropriate on how one sees it. A few of them are below.
- “The secret of joy in work is contained in one word – excellence. To know how to do something well is to enjoy it.†– Pearl S. Buck
- “Somewhere out there is a unique place for you to help others – a unique life role for you to fill that only you can fill.†– Thomas Kinkade
- “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.†― Vince Lombardi
- “Patience, persistence, and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success.†― Napoleon Hill
- “Often when you think you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.†– Fred Rogers
- “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.†– Winston Churchill
- “You have not lived a perfect day, even though you have earned your money, unless you have done something for someone who will never be able to repay you.†– Ruth Smeltzer
- “It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.†– Anonymous
