????Election activities in ISTD are ON to elect top governing body consisting of NP, NVP, NT and RVP for each zone. It's an honour to serve and be a part of its journey towards growth and development of ISTD. ????????The vision that each of the NC member hold, can only be realised with the collective contribution of ideas from the vast pool of talent, expertise, experience each of us possess. The managing team can facilitate your creative vision into action. The success lies in the inclusivity of all the stakeholders. With this objective, I am contesting for the position of National President for the term 2022-24. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????DILIP DESAI: DSD IN ISTD While I reiterate that the members' vision will determine the future of ISTD, I place here my brief profile for those of us with whom I am not regularly interacting????????? ??????????????????????????I am a trainer professionally equipped with Dip.in T&D (ISTD) and Diploma in HRD from The MS University of Baroda, built upon my Engineering background. I was a part of the top management and faculty team of Management Development Centre of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation limited (IPCL) for two decades.

????????????????????????????It was originally a Govt of India Undertaking (subsequently acquired by Reliance Group). At IPCL, as a Manager Engineering, I worked in Operation and Maintenance of different plants. Prior to IPCL I have worked with Bombay Suburban Electric Supply Ltd (Now Adani Group) and was adjudge as "Best Sportsman of the year during my tenure. ????????????????????????????My association with ISTD spans over 36 years, I laid the foundation for ISTD in Vadodara, thanks to the patronage of IPCL. I can proudly say that professionally, financially and administratively, Vadodara is one of the strongest chapters of ISTD. Currently, I am the Regional Vice President (West). During my tenure as Chairman the Chapter was adjudged as the Best Chapter in ISTD. Thanks again to the collective efforts of our members, we at Vadodara Chapter have had our own office for the last 15 years and have recently moved to a bigger space with a conference hall. ???????? ?? While we all will draw the developmental agenda and vision for ISTD, I feel we should be seriously focusing on? ·?Administrative Reforms ·?Fair, ethical and Transparent Administration ·?Professionalised, digitalised Administration ·?Decentralised administration at regional level to foster Chapter Centric and Growth ·?Develop a robust marketing mechanism to promote manifold training growth ·??Restore dignity, respectability and Inclusivity of members to utilise their talent / Expertise in a dignified manner ·???Encourage creativity and innovation ·??Focused?Revenue generation ·??Reaching to all states and large Union Territories for developing new chapters ·??Increase Professional Members in existing Chapters ·??To revive dormant Chapters.?
