The Vision of 20,000 Houston Area TimeBanks

To my Grandchildren, we never give up!  And we never give up on God.  So, what you read, I Believe, are words I was given this morning “by God”. Love you!??

Just a few of the TimeBanks USA "groupees" spreading the word of the Core Economy (people helping people for no money, just giving and receiving hours of help).  We gathered in Detroit in June 2010, from the right with Founder Dr. Edgar Cahn, Washington DC; National Board Member Sheryl Walton, Oakland CA; and the Houston Area TimeBanks Network Facilitator Morris Fountain.

For those of you who are blessed to “not know me”, since January 2006 I speak a Vision of 20,000 independent BUT Interdependent Houston Area TimeBanks.

It is “intuitive” if our priority is community, not self.  

For example, it is fact that the Top 100 Corporations in Houston “donate” 300 million dollars per year based on employee volunteer hours. 

Also fact, the Top 20 biggest & oldest Houston Social Service agency 501 (c)(3)’s, for FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY, have a combined annual operating budget of one billion dollars. 

Intuitively YOU might ask, and how much more good could be done “for no money”???
