Visible or Approachable?

Paraphrasing a quote, I recently came across, it said we need to cultivate visibility because attention is as valuable as currency itself.
While it is indeed true that in today’s digital age, you must express your existence constantly or you are forgotten. However, I have noticed that in efforts to stay visible, people often turn a blind eye to the other important things.
Unfortunately, people tend to be more visible and approachable on digital platforms than they are in real life. Isn’t this the point where we ought to draw the line? Your visibility will someday slip away from you as sand from your fingers.
Being visible by providing an unparalleled amount of value to your audience is different than simply expressing your opinions on every update to seek attention. If you are out there producing mediocre content for attention while your family and friends crave for your true visibility, the attention you would receive can seldom bear fruit.
Life is all about drawing the line in between, it is all about balance. Don’t try to make life binary, mainly because it is not. Life resides in the little grey areas where you find a moment to take a calm breath amidst a mind-numbing chaotic situation. Life exists in the fragrance of the sand after it has slipped through your fingers.
While you make a living, do not forget to create life. That is precisely what matters.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!
