Real diversity happens when you have a culture that respects women for what they are, they are not compared with men, they are not given subtle hints of charity being done to them, and they are appreciated for their hard work and intellect and not for their dressing sense and beauty.

I personally believe real celebration of diversity is when women are not treated differently for their gender but what they bring to the table (meritorious, like anyone would) which possibly would’ve been lacking due to years of missed opportunities. And of course, not to forget, we will achieve another milestone in our strive towards Gender Diversity, when we successfully move beyond another label given to women at corporates, thats ‘diversity/ diversity hire’.
