Viscosity of glues
1. High viscosity, poor liquidity; low viscosity and good liquidity.
2. There is no absolute relationship between viscosity and solid content. Adhesives with high solid content are not necessarily high.
3. The viscosity is also not absolutely related to the "brushability" called the general operation. High viscosity does not mean that the brushability must be poor. The brushability is closer relative with the solvent volatilizing speed and the glue content of brush tools.
4. The adhesives with different viscosity are best to use different paint tools. For example, a lower viscosity adhesive should be brushed with strong glue and softer brushes.
5. When selecting adhesives, viscosity is an important consideration. For porous materials, if the adhesives used are too low, most adhesives will infiltrate into the surface. At this time less glue caused. If viscosity is too high, the penetration is not good, and the drying speed will be slow. If the time is not long enough, it will often affect the bonding effect.
