2023-2024 State & Territory nomination allocation for 190 + 491 Visas

The 2023–24 State & Territory nomination allocations have been released by the Australian Government.

The numbers show a significant decrease in available slots compared to the previous year.?

New South Wales and Victoria have the highest allocations because they are the most populated states in Australia. Northern Territory has by far the least places available and the program is currently closed for new applications.

The 190 + 491 Visas are points-based. Every applicant needs at least 65 points to qualify. However, 65 points is the bare minimum. Especially popular occupations such as accountants or marketing specialists don’t get far with low points.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Closure of the Pandemic Event (Subclass 408) Visa

?? From 2 September 2023, the Covid Visa will only be open to applications from existing Pandemic Event visa holders.

?? Only current holders can apply until February 2024 with a visa application charge of $405 AUD and the visa will be granted for 6 months instead of 1 year.?

?? The Pandemic Event visa will not be available to holders of other visa types. Individuals who do not have alternative visa application options are anticipated to leave Australia upon the expiration of their current visa.?
