Virus Insidious Maximus

We have a tsunami coming and we are STILL acting as if we are immune to this Virus. The virus circus is already here living among us. It is setting up shop and if you aren't scared, You should be. Not panicked but scared into smart thought and action. It is everywhere, we just are not fully feeling the physical effects, YET! It is the insidious nature of this beast that is its most powerful weapon; we are seemingly healthy but carry and spread the virus because we don't feel sick, sometimes for weeks. This leads to infecting others rapidly.

It is the spread that we must control. Unlike the flu, when you get sick you go home and isolate. Not so with this virus, we are not symptomatic and we are spreading it.

This is a healthcare crisis and it is so important to treat it with great intention and attention. I have said this before but it is not about you. It is about the weakest and most vulnerable: our parents and grandparents, etc. When we treat this with contempt and fail to follow the CDC and other's advice we are running the risk of killing those we love and care for. Think about that for a moment.

Stay the FUCK apart and touch nothing or you are part of the problem and this thing could get way out of hand. Not saying don't go out, take that much needed walk, but assume everything and everyone is infected, including YOU!

I am a pure optimist but as Bill Ackerman said, "Hell is coming!" It is actually already here. If you have not seen Bill's interview last week, it will sober you up. We must shut the country down for a minimum of 30 days. We can recover from this and if we do it right, we can come out the other side stronger and humbled, not broken.
