Virtual Training vs e-Learning?

During this time where everyone is working remotely, do not just rush into implementing "e-learning" programs. It is an easy temptation to throw a catalog of program titles to your employees. Sure there is a place for it. But the key question is, what do your employees really need? If it is merely knowledge transfer, information recall, enforcing guidelines, then by all means.
However, if the learning need is for engagement, discussions, interactive team working, best practice sharing, motivating, then perhaps you may need virtual training - where an engaging facilitator runs the virtual learning session.
Furthermore, it has nothing to do with technology. Technology does not equate to a great learning experience. It can complement it, but not replace a great learning experience.
For everyone's reflection.... Below is a table highlighting some of the differences.
Stay safe everyone!
