Virtual task assistant: would it be the end of the maintenance professional?

Last week, we talked about something new here at Manusis4 which is the assistant | virtual task scheduler. Some doubts came along and the main one, when a new technology appears, is: what about humans? It would be the end of many jobs.

First, let's start with some explanations. A job scheduling virtual assistant can bring several advantages to a company's asset management, including:

1. Task automation: a virtual assistant can automate repetitive and routine tasks, freeing up time for employees to focus on more complex and strategic activities;

2. Error reduction: with task automation, human errors can be reduced or eliminated, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency in asset management;

3. Increased productivity: by automating tasks, it is possible to increase employee productivity, letting them perform more tasks in less time;

4. Improved decision-making: a virtual assistant can collect and analyze data in real time, providing valuable information for asset management decision-making;

5. Improved internal communication: A virtual assistant can help with communication between departments, making it easier to coordinate efforts for asset management.

Did you figure out that in all items human material is paramount? A virtual job scheduling assistant can help a company streamline its asset management, increase efficiency and productivity, as well as reduce errors and improve decision-making.

While this technology can automate many routine tasks and reduce the need for human intervention in some areas, maintenance professionals still play a key role.

? In performance tracking: maintenance professionals can track the performance of equipment and systems in real time, identifying problems that may not be detected by the virtual assistant;

? In making strategic decisions: although a virtual assistant can provide valuable information for decision making, the experience and knowledge of maintenance professionals are still essential to evaluate information and make strategic decisions;

? In preventive and predictive maintenance: maintenance professionals can perform preventive and predictive maintenance (we've talked about this in other newsletters) on equipment and systems, identifying problems before they cause unplanned downtime or more serious failures;

? In repairs and corrective maintenance: in case of failures or more complex problems, maintenance professionals can carry out repairs and corrective maintenance, making sure equipment and systems operate efficiently again;

? In managing data and information: While a virtual assistant can collect and analyze data, maintenance professionals are responsible for managing the data and information, making sure it is stored and used appropriately.

There is no machine without man. Human work in asset management is essential and is further enhanced by technology. See you!
