The virtual position of the servo:

How to understand the virtual position?

For example, if you make the servo rotate 120 degrees, but the position where the servo exceeds 120 degrees or does not reach 120 degrees is called a virtual position.

If it's a new servo, it boils down to the problem:

1. The machining accuracy of the servo is not enough

2. There is a problem with the servo design

3. The gear clearance of the servo is too large

4. There is a gap between the servo shaft and the shaft hole

If it's a dummy bit generated after the servo has been in use for a while:

1. The output shaft of the servo is worn

2. For example, low-performance servos do not have bearings, so the friction between the output shaft and the casing will cause a gap

3. The long-term load of the servo is too large

The solutions are:

1. You can add aluminum foil tape on the output shaft (but the effect is not obvious, temporary solution),As shown below:

2. It is recommended to use the servo of bushing or bearing,As shown below:

3. Add steel plate to fix.The steel sheet needs to be in a good position of the shell, which is more convenient with a cutting machine. As shown below:

Also watch out for wear between the servo gears: as long as you keep the gears lubricated, you should be fine
