Virtual Interaction with Mrs Veeru Anand (Women Empowerment - An Initiative)

On 20th November 2021, Goenka & Associates Educational Trust conducted a virtual interaction with Mrs Veeru Anand. The event was hosted by our Girl-Students of GHS,YHS & LHS.

Mrs VEERU ANAND is a LADY DRIVING INSTRUCTOR in NAGPUR City. Born in Lucknow and brought up in Amravati (Maharashtra). Did her Post Graduation in Master of Industrial Relation and Personnel Management (M.I.R.P.M) 3rd Merit Amravati University.

She learned driving at the age of 12 yrs. She was passionate about vehicles and driving since her childhood. Even though she was a Post Graduate she wanted to do something of her own for the Welfare of the society and didn’t believed in working under somebody else.

She started her driving classes on 8th March 2011 with the motto to make Females INDEPENDENT. Various Organisations has time to time acknowledged Veeru’s work,
