Virtual AI Agents: the future of engagement driven Sales

Well, most if not all of us know about AI and that AI is a buzzword of sorts. Everyone is talking about AI irrespective of whether they use AI or work in an environment which deals with AI directly or indirectly. But, all said and done, AI is here to stay.
As time progresses, AI will become an integral part of our existence akin to search which has become an integral part of our lives. About 2 decades ago, nobody who knew about the internet and worked on it was not so acclimatized to internet search. But, today almost the entire globe carries out internet search as an everyday habit.
Getting back to this piece, I will focus on AI agents. Almost all of us know about chatbots. Rather, we may be interacting with these chatbots quite often as we use mobile operated applications day in and day out. While I will focus on Chatbots in another piece, understand that chatbots are rule-based and answer set questions in a more standardized format. They may not be classified as AI agents per se.?

AI agents, on the other hand, are intelligent in nature. They learn from the questions, engagements, interactions, statements etc. and then refine their answers every time they execute a command or in simple words - answer questions asked of them or information sought from them. AI agents are thus, intelligent assistants helping firms answer questions using NLP or Natural Language Processing to the firm’s customers, consumers, vendors, prospects, prospective partners and just about anyone who wishes to know about what a firm does and how its products and services can add value both in B2B and in B2C environments.?
Now, if you are a business owner or an entrepreneur or even a business leader, the most important metric for you would be to drive incremental sales for your firm irrespective of whether you sell products and/or services and/or a combination of both. You would be having local, regional, national, or even international sales teams who would be serving specific customers and segments across specific regions. But, the maximum a sales team member may officially work will be 40 hours a week and that too on working weekdays, right?? What about holidays? What about weekends?
