Virginity need not be commended
Its funny how people commend others especially women for keeping their virginity. I really do not blame anyone; it is as a result of the society and world in which we find ourselves. A world overtaken by sexual immorality which has become the norm and anything apart from that is seen as rubbish.
Being a virgin is a normal thing and does not need any sort of commendation. Our body is the temple of God and therefore must be kept holy; this is what the Bible says for those of us who are Christians. I do not know what the Quran says. Sex is not meant to be explored outside marriage but our world has made it the opposite and we all have bought into the idea and we engage in it with reckless abandon.
To every virgin reading this, you do not deserve any commendation for remaining a virgin. You should stop seeing yourself as holy all because you have not had sex. Being a virgin does not mean you are sexually pure. Some of us are virgins but we have engaged in all kinds of sexual escapades; the only thing is we have not been penetrated. Those are technical virgins
Virginity is not what really matters rather sexual purity is what matters. I am not insinuating that you throw away your virginity but rather I am saying sexual purity is what matters. What is the essence of virginity when you do everything that leads to sex.

Parents need to stop looking at their children who are virgins as saints while looking at other peoples children as sinners. Being a virgin does not make them sexually pure or clean.

2 年I think virginity isn't about females alone. We miss the point when it's just about females. Virginity is for both genders. And as a believer, I think it should be commended.
