Virginia Gets Marquee Win Against Florida State

Virginia got a marquee win last night by defeating Florida State in Charlottesville. The Cavaliers squeaked out a 61-56 victory over the Seminoles after losing to them just a few weeks ago in Tallahassee. The Seminoles are now 7-2 and tied for 2nd place in the ACC while Virginia is now 6-4 and tied for 3rd place with Syracuse. The Cavaliers have several more chances for big wins as they play Louisville twice and host Duke before Conference play concludes in early March. It will be interesting to see how things play out for Virginia the rest of the season and if they can make it back to the NCAA Tournament to try and defend their title.
