6th League Match of India against England held on 29-Oct-2023 and India Won the match by 100 runs and rank 1st position on point table so far, while it was first time in this tournament when Team India did bat first and one Management Insight Take Away happened while India was Batting….

Virat is one of the finest batsman of the era with his techniques, skills, zeal and looking towards his present form in this tournament specially while chasing he consider as best chase master in the world, but while open batting yesterday he score Zero while faced 9 deliveries, so the 8 dot balls create pressure on him and last he took risk on 9th ball and result he lost his wicket while scoring Zero Run.

Being as Management Professional I took one best life lesson from Virat and sharing here on the contradiction of Entrepreneurship

An Entrepreneur who have great business idea in his mind, proven expertise in past, fantastic track of success specially when he understand his segment market and target his services/product on time to get maximum leverage, but it happened best once he is familiar with business and market conditions (Second Inning when run to chase is clear) but for new or unique business idea he need to map its market segment first (if Batting First then there should be clear what defended target must be on Board) and if you sitting ideal for a longer period that is dangerous (8 balls were not scored single run) and hence while scaring you might take steps which may not good for your business (9th ball, pull that risky shot and get caught within 30 Yard circle)

So the lesson learn from last inning if Virat Kohli is that you should be clear with your target market, your small but regular efforts must be needed for rotation or else, during last you need to take the risk…..
