In other news...

- This week has been wild with some BIG wins. We had this client renew for the seventh year as well as another renew for the second year & double their monthly investment. We also had a massive pinch-me moment with our Marvel x SafeJawz campaign blowing up! Just to balance things out, a few weeks back I literally felt like I wanted to quit, I was so burnt out working on a massive client project with a tight deadline. This is such a bloody rollercoaster.

- Is it possible to not look like a plonker in a hairnet?

- Buzzing to contribute to this collab happening with Lucy Hall!

- I'm on day 19 of my 4 week break from alcohol & feeling goooooood.

- I'm also really excited about Lloyd & I doing a 3-month fitness/health challenge starting October 1st. Lloyd's come up with this whole point-scoring system based on diet, exercise & not drinking etc. & the winner gets a prize. I feel sad how excited am about this but oh well haha.

- We're going to be hiring for 2 more roles, keep your eyes peeled!

- We have a VERY exciting campaign almost finalised where we'll be working with another 90s legend as part of a big activation in London & I can't wait! I can't share much currently but will keep you posted when I can!

Thought for the day

In January last year, we spent a chunk of money on some consultancy from a well-known entrepreneur & we were pretty shocked at the outcome.

Some quick background...

We were looking to fast-track our growth.

And wanted to learn from someone who had been there, done it & got the T-shirt.

So we contacted someone who we really looked up to.

They had sold their agency for 7 figures.

And we LOVED the work they delivered for clients.

So we invested in some consultancy.

We wanted to know how they did it.

And what their advice would be to help us fast-track our growth.

They gave a lot of great advice & insight.

But the most impactful was something simple.

They asked, 'Where are you getting most new business from now?'

Our answer: LinkedIn

'Do more of that'.

So...

We did more of that.

We put a lot more resource into LinkedIn.

And it's helped us more than double the size of our Agency.

The advice is so simple.

Almost laughable.

But coming from this person, it switched something in our minds.

Why aren't we doing more of what is working!?

So to save you a few thousand pounds of consultancy...

If you want to fast-track your growth.

Ask yourself the same question.

And then do more of the thing that is working.

Happy Friday!! ??

Dan (writing this) & Lloyd (in spirit)

Being the fossilised dinosaur that I am, I got 0 out of 10. Mind you I have enough trouble with English, never mind Gen Zed (not zee) slang phrases. ??
