A Vintage Lady Who Rocks!
Nancy Horowitz is one of the most creative people I know and today I increased my collection of NANCY ANNE DESIGNS ? with this distressed shirt, sans sleeves and with a Grateful Dead motif on the back. Many of these sleeveless shirts from NANCY ANNE DESIGNS ? have rock legends of the 60’s – or their legendary logos - reproduced on the back.
Nancy uses strictly vintage fabrics like, bark-cloth, tablecloths, U.S. mail bags, French poste sacks, German Grain-sacks, lace doilies, tea towels and any vintage fabrics she can source. And she turns these fabrics into pillows, totes, yoga bags, and toddler dresses, and toddler denim jackets with the music motifs on the back, which all comprise her most sought after portfolio. The pillows are made from vintage African indigo mud-cloth, Hmong Batik from Thailand and Otomi from Mexico! And the shirts we are both wearing The best place to shop Nancy’s Look Book is on her Etsy store site: https://etsy.me/2rPWywV where you can buy and have shipped anywhere across the USA.
