Do you view the glass as half empty or half full?
I am, by nature, an optimist. For me, the cup is always half full, never half empty. This is something I've always applied to my business because when it comes to failure, everything has a solution. I really believe this. It's a trait you come to understand more about me in my book.
"Do you sleep well at night?" I remember my father once asked me when I was fighting to clear my name from the Interpol list.
"I sleep very well," I replied. Of course, I bore full responsibility for my mistakes. But I knew things would turn out okay. Somehow, I just knew it.
In business, there are so many obstacles that are put in your way that if you, yourself, become another obstacle through the negative way you think about things, then you will never succeed. As an entrepreneur, it's crucial that you do your best to be positive and - just as important - project that positivity to those around you.
So, I go back to my earlier question: Do you view the glass as half empty or half full??
