View on Singularity - Will it Happen?

This is what google says...The Singularity is futuristic world where our intelligence will become increasingly non-biological and trillions of times more powerful than it is today—the dawning of a new civilization that will enable us to transcend our biological limitations and amplify our creativity. Same like Hollywood movie A.I. Artificial Intelligence(2001).

In my opinion evolution of nature is always keep on changing from the time when universe or particularly earth came to existent and this has a tremendous impact on the over all growth of the mankind. But this evolution growth was natural and we can say it is till now stable. But we can't expect same kind of effect from a artificial growth of intelligence. For sure we are not very far away from Singularity, but we have to be very much careful and we need to set our limits before developing such kind of intelligence, because every technology now a days misused by many people and countries in the world. Like atom bomb, internet virus, internet surveillance. Everything has some limit and as human being we have to introspect to know what we want and what we don't. Our forefathers who found different aspect of physics & chemistry they never thought one day people will use their findings to create mass destruction weapon like atom bomb. There is no doubt AI has done a great job by seating in different applications of medical diagnosis, stock trading, robot control, law, remote sensing, scientific discovery and of course how we can forget Apple SIRI, which is doing a great job in IOS products. However, as I told in the beginning we have to set our limits before handing over our power to super humans.
