Wow, where did February go and as I type this, half of bloomin March! It hardly feels like I’ve left January and here’s mid March banging on my door. But I do recall some sunshine, although in my world the sun is always shining.

Made Smarter launch. Are you a manufacturing company curious about how digital technology might help your business? Or are you a digital service provider looking to support manufacturers? This might be a programme worthy of your curiosity. However the real joy of this programme is the unashamedly joyous promotion by the lead officer for this activity Mr Pete McOnie, he is also an unashamed connector and collaborator, I hope many many others follow this lead! (Most do) Every single person working on publicly funded activity within the business support environment should make sure they work and support business on their business needs not the programme needs of their respective organisations. Judging Roses!

Pendle vision

Pendle Vision Board. First time of attending this, I gave a short update on Boost, it was nice to see I knew so many faces/businesses in the room, all giving their time freely and sharing their ideas. We spoke about the challenge of actually finding businesses within various geography’s and convincing them that there is GREAT support out there to embolden their growth ambitions, I shared a number with that group and a challenge to improve and increase our connections within Pendle (with their help). I’m looking forward to working with them through Boost.

Graduation

Growing Club Graduation. I know it’s only my second post, but already this is their second honourable mention! But deservedly so! Jane and the team behind the growing club are knocking it out of the park! I know I should be neutral (and I am) but hands down this activity just makes me smile and continues to amaze me with the stories of brilliant women doing brilliant things! Long may it continue to flourish. Such a heart warming and empowering programme.
