“Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” — Marie Curie
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is unavoidable whether YOU pay attention or not. And it’s already having real consequences in our daily lives, from applying for jobs and credit cards, looking for a mate on Tinder, Match or Bumble, navigating your way with Waze or Google Maps, watching Netflix, discovering new music on Spotify, shopping on Amazon or eBay, or using social media platforms such as LinkedIn. AI is not coming; it is here and already part of our daily lives. We cannot escape it, we had better embrace it. The foundation of the “future of work” has already been constructed in some key industries and is having global impact. Have you considered WHY you are not being called for an interview?
AI should not be feared. WE MUST understand today what is at stake and get involved. My goal is simple: I want to help inform and educate others – so that we can fear less and build a better tomorrow for all of us, not just a few. This text-led video series is not a panacea. And I do not want to pretend to know the solution to the equation of %Humans + %Machines for a symbiotic workforce – because no one does. I am enlisting your help to drive our society to a better path forward.
“AI is refreshing. It has great potential, but also comes with risk. In short, it is an unavoidable juxtaposition of extremes—loaded with indispensable promise and unpredictable complexity.” Journel Joseph @ Data & Analytics 4.0.
