A little over two years ago, a startup was born. This startup offered video and email together for personal invitations and greetings. Instead of sending paper invitations, you would create a video, upload it to Inviter.com, fill in event details, and email it guests. Inviter has been sending video emails before it became popular.
Now a lot has changed in two years. Inviter was already doing video emails, but for personal events. Why not make it available for businesses? It’s no longer a question. Instead, I dare say that Inviter is one of the first companies if not the first to offer a video email platform that boosts not only email conversions, but also offers search engine value along with social media.
Here’s how it works. When you create your video email, you get a dedicated landing page with the video, a description for added detail, and social media share links. The landing page and description add the SEO value. You can optimize the page complete with headings, keywords in the content, and LINKS. This page counts as a backlink.
When I first came across this, I was in awe. Sure sending videos in email wasn’t necessarily new. You can link to YouTube videos. But to do it in a platform with email analytics, something that adds SEO value (because I always have my SEO hat on) and easily integrates with platforms like Pardot and MailChimp? That’s a service that is hard to beat right now. As a marketer on the hunt for a platform that boosts conversions and testing it out myself for other projects, I have to give this a big thumbs up.

9 年Thanks for sharing this. I was familiar with Bomb Bomb, but not Invitr. What does the actual email look like? I'm assuming there is a image of the video and when you click it it links to the landing page. Does the campaign actually go out through Mailchimp. I would like that because then everything could be in one place. I completely understand why the monthly fee is priced for big businesses. I just wish there was a plan that fit into a vlogger budget. I'm going to be doing regular videos and it would be nice to send something out a teaser for each one, but I'm not prepared to spend $50/month. I definitely could see myself sending out a single event video to introduce something once a month though.
