The why!

As Business owners in Dubai, some of our challenges include, (but are not limited to) Finding customers, Spreading brand awareness, explaining your business, gaining reach, marketing, time, etc… with the biggest challenge being - creating opportunities that matter! No matter how well you are doing right now, let’s face it – you want to do better! We know, we have been there too. Honestly for me, focusing on these core challenges takes away much-needed attention from the creative and practical’s of my passion. Should I focus on the work in hand or should I work on finding more clients? In my case, both are important and require equal attention.

When we started running our production business, our goal was to help as many business owners as possible to create momentum and reach for them. Which meant meetings, over meetings, over meetings, it became an endless circle. As much as I loved the meeting and the hustle lifestyle, I found myself repeating the same information again and again and precious time doing it. In some cases, the people I was meeting were not pre-qualified, didn’t know anything about what we do and why we do it.  I realized we have a problem, to ease the process and prequalify my meetings I created a quick explainer video of who we are and what we do and at the end extend an invitation for a meeting (https://youtu.be/FCxwQl69EM0). This video has helped us by clarifying who I am, what I do, and how we can take the next step forward. It’s a simple video but has already worked wonders for us opening the doors to leads for us. The best thing about it - Its available on social media for all my contacts to share!

For the last year, we have been incorporating the same model with some of our clients on creating a solution to help their businesses. Something that will ease their process, help explain the business, help anyone working for them explain the business without the message getting lost in translation, being easily shared by friends, clients, and social media. This changed the entire game for them.

The Video Business Card is a powerful (and foundational) video any business can have. It covers the entire businesses' nervous system. It helps a company save time, help generate revenue, and build and nurture relationships. How to use the Video Business Card.

The Video Business Card is a marketing tool that is not limited to getting your foot in the door. Here are some additional strategies for companies to use a Video Business Card.

SALES CALLS

  • STRATEGY – Send the Video Business Card to potential clients before you attend the meeting. This will save time on explaining your business, and what you have to offer. It will also prequalify the meeting. (We don’t take a sales meeting with a potential client until they’ve first seen our Video Business Card - this is a good strategy for anyone doing sales calls).
  • The Video Business Card pre-frames the customer’s state of mind to understand and prepare for the meeting.
  • The customer is made aware of who you are and what you do before taking any businesses time.

EMAIL SIGNATURES

  • STRATEGY - massive amounts of communication happens daily via email. Every single email with vendors, customers, etc. is an opportunity for relationships to be deepened
  • Upload to site (e.g. Vimeo)
  • Add an additional line of text to the signature portion... something like “Learn about us in 2 minutes!” Then create a “hyperlink” to the video.

WEBSITE

  • STRATEGY - videos on websites have proven to increase the “stay rate” on a website as well as the chances someone will take action on the website.

The video was used on social networks with a combination of Instagram and Facebook ads. Coach Jack’s main objective was to create brand awareness, reach potential fitness enthusiasts and gain signups for their program. Their monthly beach program saw them gaining over 100 signups and from those that attended the session, they had an average of 35% of new clients.
