Everyone is shouting, "Video is the future". You can call it a mob mentality but when mavens like Mark Zuckerberg or Forbes blatantly announce their love for videos we can't ignore it. Mark have plans of making Facebook the mecca of Livestream ( a content type of LIVE video form).
lets probe through new developments in the field of video and how can you use it for brining your brand in fast forward mode.
- The movie Don't Breathe along with Snapchat launched a 10 sec video ad which had a functionality of being swiped in all directions, making it a 360-degree video. The ad is launched in US and will be up and running in The UK and Australia in the coming weeks.
- Finally, Pinterest launches video ads. These ads will be similar to usual pins and will expand on a single tap. This feature will only be up for mobile initially which constitutes 80% of their business and will be rolling in US and UK markets.
- Instagram is all packed up to attack the much acclaimed teenager "most go to" app with its new video curation functionality. Click search in your Instagram channel and here we go, you are ready to access the videos as per your search pattern.
