In this update, we spotlight a technically demanding project undertaken by Vidaco for Knauf Insulation—revamping their steam washing system for mesh conveyors. This collaboration, now in its fourth year, has yielded about ten projects, with this initiative setting a new benchmark in engineering complexity and operational innovation.

Our partnership with Knauf Insulation has matured through continuous engagement, culminating in this latest endeavor. It reflects our shared dedication to pushing the boundaries of industrial process technology and operational efficiency.

Project Overview: Elevating Steam Washing Efficacy

The focal point of this project is the overhaul of the existing steam washing setup, necessitated by the inefficiencies of the old system. The objective is twofold: to achieve a more controlled and regulated cleaning process and to enhance environmental and equipment safeguards against the harsh conditions intrinsic to steam washing.

Engineering Challenges

This venture is distinguished by its engineering rigor, necessitating precise material and component selection capable of withstanding extreme operational environments marked by high humidity, temperatures, and pressures reaching 600 bar. These factors demand an engineering approach that prioritizes material resilience, system reliability, and operational safety.
