Vice President Mondale told me about the thrill to love the country

Listening to him tell me the love he has for our country was so touching and so moving that I wonder why someone would pass on the opportunity to be there for his/her country, the one by birth or that country that may have adopted you if that is the case, or both. There is definitely something about committing to make your city, state, or country better. Vice President Mondale makes it very easy to understand and feel the thrill to love the country!
