Are you interested in a compliance leadership? position with a national finance company overseeing the compliance for its consumer division? Our client is a national finance company with offices in the Philadelphia? area. Our client provides the path to continued career growth and development.

With the CFPB and DOJ scrutinizing our industry, compliance is more important than ever.? We are seeking a VP of Compliance ?to oversee the Corporate Compliance Program, functioning as the group ?that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. The position ensures that management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed.

??????????????????????????????????????????????? ? Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Compliance for the organization
  • Develops and oversees procedures making sure company is compliant with all government regulations
  • Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; Develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
  • Monitor and coordinate compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends
  • Ensure that employees receive proper and ongoing compliance training
  • Responsible for interpreting legal research and assisting in implementing compliant policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure compliance issues are addressed, investigated, resolved and once resolved, continually adhered to in practice
  • Monitor and manage all inquiries and complaints by State and Federal agencies; develop and implement policies and procedures to avoid similar situations in the future.
  • Advise management as to changes in applicable laws and regulations, and the effect of those changes on company practices
  • Oversee the internal quarterly/yearly compliance review functions
  • Assist outside auditors, as needed
  • Provide routine feedback to management for process improvement
  • Develop, maintain, and/or revise policies and procedures related to the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities to ensure they meet federal and state (where applicable) standards
  • Work with HR and QA ?to develop an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all employees and managers
  • Provide reports to executive management regarding the operation and progress of compliance efforts

·???????? Consumer compliance lending experience is a hard requirement?

·???????? Bachelor’s degree in business including Economics, Finance, and Accounting is preferred??

·???????? Through technical understanding of the financial services ?regulatory environment.

·???????? ?Excellent communication skills.

·???????? Proficient understanding of the internal audit processes a plus;

·???????? ?Prior experience communicating with regulators is a plus.

·???????? Ability to relocate to Philly area. This position is not remote
