THE VIBRATION OF COLOR

Following on from my piece on The Power of Sound, it’s difficult to keep color out of the healing equation.?Color and sound are so closely related; in fact, they are the same vibration, just 40 octaves apart.?

For example, the musical note C and the Color Red are intrinsically the same; it is just the fact that they reflect different octaves of essentially the same vibratory scale --- the color being 40 octaves higher than the musical note. We cannot hear Color but we can see it conversely, we cannot see Sound but we can hear it and feel its vibrations through our different senses which we use to absorb the various effects it has on us at each level.

?So using color as part of the healing process is something I often suggest to my clients. Wearing certain colors?can increase?one’s healing and the qualities of that particular color are?enhanced too.

Each color also relates to a CHAKRA. There are seven major energy centers, or chakras in the human body (and hundreds of minor ones), which receive, assimilate and distribute energy.? ?(If you’re interested in learning more about color and the Chakra System see my website for classes.)

?Which color do you resonate with at the moment?

Red is the color of fire and blood, so it is associated with energy,?danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.??

Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.

Yellow is the color of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Yellow produces a warming effect, arouses cheerfulness, stimulates mental activity, and generates muscle energy.

Green is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Dark green is also commonly associated with money. Green has great healing power

Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body

Purple combines the stability of blue and the energy of red. Purple is associated with royalty. It symbolizes power, nobility, luxury, and ambition. It conveys wealth and extravagance. Purple is associated with wisdom, dignity, independence, creativity, mystery, and magic.

White is associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the color of perfection. White means safety, purity, and cleanliness.

Using color as a guide you can also be consciously aware of the healing and harmonizing vibrations of nature’s beautiful gifts. The fruits and vegetables you eat the clothes you wear and the surroundings in your home.?

?Express all the colors of your own personal rainbow and watch the changes happen!

?If we want to be in tune with the Universe we need to be in tune with ourselves or visa versa it makes no odds which way you go about achieving this goal ---- removing the obstacles and blocks by the process of transmuting, transforming, transcending and dissolving the negativity which prevents us in achieving this goal is what it is really all about. Unconditional Love for ourselves and others is a good starting point in opening up the gateway to healing.
