?Ephesians 4:1 (NIV) "I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received."

?Ephesians 4:1 is part of Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus. This verse serves as a transition from the theological teachings in the first three chapters to practical instructions in the remaining chapters. Paul emphasizes the importance of living in accordance with the Christian calling.

In this verse, Paul urges believers to conduct their lives in a manner that reflects their identity as followers of Christ. The "calling" refers to the invitation to salvation and the responsibilities that come with it. Living "worthy" means embodying virtues such as humility, gentleness, patience, and love—qualities that reflect Christ’s character.
