The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived! After months of hard work, I am thrilled to announce that jazzman Daniel Roure's latest album is finally available. This new release, titled "Via Brasil," is a vibrant tribute to Brazilian culture, seamlessly blending elements of bossa nova, samba, and choro into a captivating musical journey.

A Brilliant Musical Ensemble

The magic of this album lies in the impeccable rhythm section, anchored by the Le Van brothers on double bass and drums, providing a solid and expressive foundation for each track. Adding to this, Marc Campo’s guitar infuses the melodies with a rich Brazilian flavor. The entire ensemble is masterfully orchestrated by the talented trumpeter and arranger Nicolas Folmer. Renowned flutist and arranger Christophe Dal Sasso, along with myself on saxophone, complete the group, enriching each piece with delicate and vibrant nuances.

"Via Brasil" marks Daniel Roure's eighth album since the release of his celebrated record "Le temps d’un Jazz," which has garnered millions of plays. This album stands out with its enchanting melodies, which beautifully accompany the romantic and warm lyrics penned by Serge Mounier, La?titia Venahove, and Valérie Holozet, all written in French. These lyrics add an extra layer of emotional depth, inviting listeners on a profound sonic odyssey through the stunning landscapes of Brazil.

"Via Brasil" is not just a celebration of Brazilian music, but also an exploration of universal themes such as love, nostalgia, and the joy of life. On a personal note, this project comes to fruition after an especially eventful period in my life (marketing specialization at EDHEC, the birth of my daughter, new professional challenges...). It could not have been completed without the contributions of the many artists who added their unique touches, making it so special to me. I am deeply moved by this fusion of sound and lyrics that resonate so strongly, and I hope they will move you just as much.
