- [Free Feature] Display key driving behavior parameters visually, whether different from defaults or in suggested ranges by DOT standard. Ranges can be customized in the settings.
- [Free Feature]Also, by one click, able to get basic throughput capacity for each driving behavior by running VISSIM through COM, important to get bottleneck throughput right when you do freeway calibration.
- [Free Feature]Supports displaying RBC signals directly - lightweight and fast. Good for checking quickly.
- Display where lane change starts for selected connector, supports per lane. VISSIM does not differentiate the upstream branch, it’s a balancing act to adjust this key parameter and it’s helpful to pin them in the map.
- U-turn connectors are turned off to forbid cycles, but might still show up in city grids.
- With one single click, create travel time segment from INRIX TMC or XD descriptions file. Carry the road name, direction and TMC segment miles, thus the actual distance in the VISSIM can be compared and checked.
- With one click, plot vehicle trajectory in the time-space diagram from raw vehicle records and signal record files, to help debug the signals coordination.
- [Free Feature]Enhanced static routes filtering - support non-consecutive links. For example 327,340,343 - any path through Link #327 first, then through #340, but #340 not necessarily have to be the immediate next of #327, thus easier to find rogue routes in addition to tracing vehicles path by calculating demand. Non-consecutive can be combined with consecutive links as well.
- Able to change routes origin and destination in a batch process. Previously only the through part (exclude Origin and Destination) can be changed or replaced.
- [Free Feature]Improved “Shortest path search” under Utility tab
- Aesthetic improvements, bug fixes, and better hints and messages.
