Legacy Chiller Systems goes into production with VFD/PLC condenser fan (Head Pressure) control.

Starting September 1st of 2017, Legacy Chiller Sysems offers this new feature on ALL air-cooled process chillers for the USA markets.


Unlike traditional on/off condenser fan motor control, that tends to cause head pressure to vary as much as 75 PSI, VFD/PLC fan control makes it now possible to reduce head pressure variance to as little as 5 PSI. In some markets, traditional low ambient options, such as flooded condenser head pressure control, is no longer needed with VFD/PLC fan control. This can reduce net cost of the chiller as much as $2000.00.
