VFAST LAUNCH FULL FIBRE SERVICE IN MEDWAY POWERED BY CITY FIBRE

Vfast are excited to announce that a Full Fibre service in Medway, powered by City Fibre has now officially launched!

Their first customer was Paul from Gillingham. He was visited by Vfast brand ambassador, Wayne, who explained about the service that was coming and what it could offer. Paul told Vfast he “was thrilled to learn he would finally be able to access a Full Fibre service”. Paul had described his previous broadband as “unreliable”, and his provider was “unable to support him when he had issues with his connection”.

Vfast caught up with Paul following the installation to see how he had found the process and his new internet service:

“The guys who came to install the system did it at a time that was convenient to me, they were quick and tidy which I was grateful for. As a result of my new Vfast service,?my internet is now fast and reliable. I would recommend Vfast Full Fibre service to my friends and neighbours. “

Vfast partnered with City Fibre to deliver Full Fibre services across Medway in 2021. Now thousands of properties are ready for service, and they are accepting orders at a rapid pace. A brand awareness campaign is going live across the area to support the roll out and create awareness of the new Full Fibre service available to residents. Danielle Salvatori, Head of Marketing at Vfast said “we want consumers to be aware of all their options when considering their service provider, for some people, customer service is a big issue with their current providers. As a local provider to Medway, it’s easy for Vfast to be reactive and give people that extra support if they need it. We’re also grateful to get consistently positive reviews from our existing customer base. “

Vfast can now offer 200Mb of full fibre for ￡35 per month, with data they gathered from the area Vfast reported a lot of consumers are paying ￡45+ for their internet. With the current cost of living crisis, Vfast could offer a ￡120 year saving to those consumers while still delivering ultrafast speeds. They also plan to introduce a fourth package by August, this will be a smaller package for those that need a reliable connection but not necessarily the higher package speeds.

Ben Doherty, Chief Technical Officer at Vfast said “Internet is becoming a utility, it is absolutely essential as part of people’s daily lives. Vfast are working to accelerate the Full Fibre roll out across the UK by partnering with infrastructure providers like CityFibre. We also have our own Fibre roll out starting in rural areas within Kent. Unreliable and inconsistent internet connections are not sustainable, we need to future proof homes with the best connectivity available and that is a Full Fibre service.”
